CARDS & PAYMENT SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (1) – / TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Job Scope

Assist in the administration and maintenance of the information systems related to cards and payments, including the Card Management System, systems related to ATM and POS administration, systems related to cards and payment networks and more. The role is also responsible for the coordination of projects and implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Additionally, the role should provide Level 1 support for the systems and functions of the Cards & Payment Systems Unit and escalate issues for Level 2 support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, external vendors and other parties to smoothly facilitate project activities and resolve incidents.

  • Ensure that the daily works follow the Bank’s IT policies and guidelines.

  • Assist in the coordination of the implementation of e-banking solutions, payment card systems and infrastructure, including card production and personalization systems, issuance systems, as well as payment card acceptance systems, ATMs and POS terminals.

  • Assist in the coordination projects related to e-banking, payment card schemes, ATMs, POS and related systems.

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance the Card Management System, ATM, POS, card personalization systems, Cardholder Data Environment and related infrastructure and lead changes for various business requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Card Management System and infrastructure by collaborating with internal teams and technology vendors.

  • Administer and maintain the HSMs to uphold the security aspects of key exchange protocols and mechanisms.

  • Assist in the coordination of the implementation and maintenance of security protocols to protect ATM and POS systems from unauthorized access and data breaches.

  • Monitor and maintain ATM and POS systems (including hardware and software systems, as well as network infrastructure and security) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of digital banking solutions that meet the needs of customers and drive growth for the Bank.

  • Provide systems data to identify opportunities for new digital banking products and services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field,

  • Professional certifications in the cards and payments industry Certified Payments Professional (CPP), Certified Cards and Payments Professional (CCPP), Certified ATM Security Administrator (CASA), certifications related to PCI DSS, etc. are an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS and other industry regulations related to payment card systems.

  • Knowledge of payment systems technologies, including ATM, POS, and mobile payment platforms.

  • Understanding of card management systems, including card issuance and processing platforms.

  • Knowledge of payment industry standards, including EMV, PCI DSS, and ISO 8583.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, document, and troubleshoot issues.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and vendors.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring security and compliance in all payment-related processes.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle high-pressure situations.
