SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST (1) – / RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE
Job Scope
The role resides within the Information Security Unit of Risk Management, mainly focusing on cyber and information security risks. The position is under the guidance of the Head of Information Security Unit.
The candidate will play a crucial role in our Information Security team, responsible for various aspects of information security, risk management, and compliance. This role will ensure compliance with MIB's Information Security policies and collaborate with various IT functions to strengthen our cybersecurity posture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development and review of information security policies, procedures, standards, controls, and guidelines.
Assist in reviewing the Bank’s ICT infrastructure is maintained in accordance with the Information and Communication Technology Policy and other pertinent security policies of the Bank.
Assist in the creation and coordination of information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees, contractors, and approved system users, including role-based training for employees with specialized security responsibilities.
Actively engage in reviewing Information Security risks associated with IT projects and change management activities.
Assist in reviewing the effectiveness of incident response plans, cybersecurity incident response plans, and compile detailed reports of observations with recommended enhancements.
Assist in executing multiple tabletop exercises and simulations to prepare participants for their roles in efficient breach response.
Commit to continuous learning by staying current with the latest advancements in cybersecurity technologies, standards, and evolving threat landscapes.
Any other duties related to information security as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree in related field with minimum 02 years of work experience in a similar field OR,
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with minimum 03 years of work experience in a similar field
Proficiency in MS office suite of applications
Fluency in Oral and Written Communication
Proven interest in information security/cybersecurity domain.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong team player, self-starter, must be flexible and able to quickly adapt to change.
Capacity to work with minimum supervision while performing duties.
