ASSISTANT MANAGER (1) – CASH UNIT – LIABILITY OPERATIONS / OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
Job Scope
Involves overseeing the operations related to ensuring ATMs managing cash inventory, coordinating the replenishment process, and ensuring the ATMs remain functional and secure. The role also requires managing teams, handling security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
ATM Cash Loading:
Load ATMs with the appropriate amount of cash based on usage and demand patterns.
Ensure accurate and secure handling of cash during the loading process.
Verify cash denominations and reconcile cash before and after loading.
ATM Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and checks to ensure the machines are functioning correctly.
Report any faults or technical issues to the relevant maintenance team or department.
Perform minor repairs or adjustments when necessary or escalate to the supervisor team.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure that cash handling procedures follow security and regulatory standards.
Adhere to security protocols, such as using proper methods for transporting and loading cash, and safeguarding cash at all times.
Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies regarding cash handling.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor ATM usage and inventory levels to ensure sufficient cash is always available.
Report any discrepancies in cash balances or machine performance.
Keep accurate records of ATM visits, cash replenishment activities, and any maintenance issues.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that ATMs are fully functional and well-stocked for customer use.
Respond to customer complaints or queries related to ATM transactions or functionality.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations, technical support, and cash management teams.
Ensure proper coordination and communication regarding ATM performance, cash replenishment, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related field
Diploma in related field with minimum 03 years of work experience in a similar field
Minimum 02 years’ work experience in a related field
Knowledge and work experience in banking & finance field will be an advantage
Highly driven and self-motivated individuals with good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Fluency in oral and written communication in Dhivehi as well in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
