ASSOCIATE (1) – CREDIT ADMINISTRATION / OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
JOB SCOPE
Responsible for carrying out all activities related to the disbursement of financing facilities and the management of credit administration functions within the core banking system. This includes ensuring timely and accurate processing, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to regulatory and Shariah requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Disbursement Processing & Verification – Ensure the timely and accurate disbursement of financing facilities in full compliance with internal policies, credit approvals, and stipulated terms, ensuring all transactions are processed within required timelines.
Documentation Compliance – Verify the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of financing documentation with policies and procedures, ensuring all finance amounts, terms, customer mandates, and authorized signatories are correctly recorded before processing.
Post-Disbursement Monitoring – Track compliance with approved financing terms, facility expirations, and post-disbursement conditions, ensuring all required actions, such as insurance and valuation tracking, are completed without delays.
System Operations & Coordination – Maintain accurate records in the core banking system, ensuring facility creation and financial entries are error-free and completed within required timeframes, while coordinating with the System Testing & Automation Unit for issue resolution.
Reconciliation & Financial Accuracy – Reconcile debit balances and receivable accounts promptly, identifying and reporting any irregularities, overdue payments, or discrepancies to the Unit Head for necessary action.
Confidentiality & Document Management – Ensure the security, proper archiving, and confidentiality of all financing-related documents in compliance with organizational policies.
Additional Responsibilities – Perform other tasks assigned by management to support the smooth functioning of the department.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma Business, Accounting, Finance, Business or in related field OR,
Minimum 02 Passes in A ‘Level OR,
Minimum 03 Passes in O’ Level with 01 one year of work experience in the field of accounting or business.
Proficiency in MS office suite of applications
Fluency in Oral and written Communications
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
Good team builder and player with excellent organizational and relationship skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
