MIB Opens New ATM Center at Maafushi

Maafushi, 9th October 2024 – MIB has officially opened a new ATM center on the island of Maafushi, a move anticipated to benefit both local residents and tourists. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Muffadal Idris Khumri, Managing Director and CEO of MIB, and the President of the Maafushi Council.
Importantly, the new ATM center will support both USD and MVR transactions, accommodating the local population’s needs.
The ATM center is expected to improve financial accessibility for residents, allowing them to manage their finances and conduct transactions with greater ease. Additionally, it aims to provide a seamless experience for tourists, who can now withdraw MVR conveniently during their stay.
This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing financial services in Maafushi and aligns with MIB’s commitment to supporting the local economy.
