MIB Launches Online Business Account Opening Service

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has introduced the option for businesses to open accounts online. This new service was unveiled at the 'Breaking Barriers in Business Banking' event held at Meerumaa Hall.

Along with the online business account opening, MIB also introduced overdraft facilities, all structured in compliance with Shariah principles. The launch was officiated by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed, and the event saw participation from numerous businesses across the Maldives.

MIB is revolutionizing business banking by making it entirely digital while maintaining the highest standards of security. The bank’s goal is to offer tailored banking solutions to businesses throughout the Maldives and ensure that these services are easily accessible through online platforms.
