MIB AGM to be held on May 8

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on May 8 at 2:00 p.m. via the FahiVote portal.

Shareholders who were registered by April 23 are eligible to attend, with the registration window open until 2:00 p.m. on May 6. Proxy registrations are also accepted until the same deadline.

During the AGM, MIB will propose a dividend of MVR 4.58 per share. The meeting agenda includes presenting the directors’ report and financial statements for approval, as well as the election of the bank’s auditors and executive director for the coming year.

The bank recently reported a net profit of MVR 278 million for 2024—a 101% increase from the previous year.
