Maldives Islamic Bank Participates in 2025 Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings in Algiers

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) proudly participated in the 2025 Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Annual Meetings held from 19th to 22nd May at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers, Algeria.

Held under the theme “Diversifying Economies, Enriching Lives,” the event served as a high-level strategic platform for development cooperation and knowledge exchange. The meetings brought together IsDB’s Board of Governors, representing 57 member countries, alongside global development partners, policymakers, and private sector leaders. The focus of discussions centered around fostering inclusive and sustainable development and addressing shared economic challenges faced by member states.

As part of the event, MIB established a dedicated stall to showcase its achievements and share insights into its journey as the first and only fully Shari’ah-compliant bank in the Maldives. The stall attracted significant attention from delegates and visitors, offering detailed information about MIB’s services, milestones, and its contributions to national development.
